Jett is in LOVE with Michael Jackson. It is almost starting to scare me! He watched a show on TV called "This Is It" and has been memorizing the songs and his dancing moves. Well Adrian was able to sneak record him in Jayce's old sunday suit dancing. (He is watching himself in the reflection from the tv screen.) We thought it was hysterical...hope you enjoy!

Ok...so father's day is approaching and I was wondering what to give Adrian this year...I couldn't resist these, and I think the kids did such a great job so I am posting them here! (I don't think Adrian reads my blog, so I should be safe to post them here!! :) I can't wait to see them on his office desk!

Jayce was a dalmation in the 3rd grade musical Arf. Here he is in his home-made costume. I think he looks pretty cute myself!! He did a great job and it was SO fun to see him performing! He has some uncle Kenny in him...(he loves to entertain and has a little mischief in him). He got to spray the audience with a squirt gun at the end.

Jayce just earned his 2nd bead in scouts. They recognized him this last pack meeting and he will be getting his Wolf badge in the next one. He is loving scouts and is pretty excited about being advanced.

Well Joey just donated here hair again. Mara's birthday is in March so in honor of that she decided it would be a good time to donate again. We went for the weekend up to see Tyler and Amy and Amy cut it for her! She looks so big and mature with her new cute short hair. Thanks Auntie Amy!

Chico

Hi All, I know...it has been forever again. I am going to try again this year to be a better blogger. So here goes. We are here in Chico. So far we all really like it here. We all miss Auburn, but I think this could eventually feel like home. I have finally figured out where most everything is. The shopping here is sortof lame, but I was never that much of a shopper so not really a big deal. Our ward is old....not very many people our age or our kids ages for that matter. So we really miss our Green River Ward family! But who knows....maybe the boundaries will change soon and we'll be just fine! I am teaching the 6 year olds (3 adorable and dramatic little girls) in Primary. Adrian is the new Gospel Doctorine teacher (glad it is him and not me!!:). I think he'll do great, but he is a little nervous about that one. Jayce and Joey are enjoying school and making new friends everyday. They are already trying to schedule playdates! Jett is missing the Y and all his "real" friends. He also wants to move back to our old house so he can go back to school. Everyone is missing the Auburn Gateway experience! But the house is very functional. We have had a GREAT Christmas! My brother Jayson and his wife Lara came with my other brother Tyler and his family (wife Amy and 3 daughters Lauren, Kate and Hadley) to spend it with us. It was fun to actually spend the holidays with my family! I'll post a few picts. Love and miss you all! Happy NEW Year!

Moving to Chico

Many of you already know...but we are moving to CHICO, CA! We are very excited! Adrian is taking a position with a company called Spectrum. We are right in the middle of the moving process and much has happened in our lives and I will have to update and post those things after I get settled again. Jayce was baptized on the 7th. Joey turned 7 on the 5th of Nov. Jett snorted a popcorn kernal (that boy is gonna make me crazy :) and we finally cut his hair. So much to look forward to.... I just didn't want people to wonder if we had dropped off the face of the earth.

Triathalon

I am officially a tri-athlete. I competed in the Federal Escape Triathlon on July 25th. My goal was just to finish...and last place was totally ok with me! However I was pleasantly surprised when I came in 96th overall (out of 147) and 9th (out of 15) for my age group. So I actually was pretty average for my first ever competitive event! I might even do it again sometime...anyone else want to join me?! If you have any desire...you can check my stats at www.trifreak.com and my bib number was 315. Rain Gutter Regatta

Jayce had his very first Rain Gutter Regatta at Cub Scouts (he also got his bobcat patch) last night. He came in first in his 4 races and could not have been more proud of himself and his dad! It was so fun! Not bad for both of their first time! Way to go boys!

Adrian took some amazing photos at the Tulip Festival in April. It will be a treasured family memory for me always! It was a beautiful sight to see and a great family day together. I especially love this picture!

Joey Dance Recital

Joey had her dance recital today and it was so cute! We are so proud of her. She did a GREAT job even though she was very nervous about all those people and her teacher told her if she got too scared she could just watch her instead of all those people out in the audience....

Kenny's Wedding

Ok...ok...so I went home and am tired of being harassed over the fact that I got ambitious enough to get this far and then to never post again...so here goes. I can't believe that Kenny is married, but the wedding was beautiful and we had a wonderful time visiting with everyone (except Tyler and his cute family since they couldn't make it.) But since they are moving our way....hopefully soon we will get to see them! The kids are still talking about gramma's house, fishing, and swimming with their cousins! It was probably our best trip yet!
